You’re not stating facts.

You’re just surrendering to the logic of empire, because you don’t understand how revolutions work.

Let’s walk through your meltdown:

First, you claimed most Vietnamese revolutionary leaders weren’t from peasant backgrounds.

That’s false. I named over a dozen who were.

Then you moved the goalposts and said they "became elites."

Of course they did. That is what revolution means.

When peasants overthrow empires, they don’t stay peasants. They become leadership. They become history.

You think going to a Soviet academy erases a poor background?

It doesn’t. It means the world finally trained the children of the colonized.

They didn’t inherit power. They earned it.

They earned it by surviving, by organizing, and by bleeding for it.

"You can’t do anything if you are a peasant."

That is the most colonial thing you’ve said yet.

Tell that to the barefoot guerrillas who outmaneuvered generals.

Tell that to the women who led uprisings from rice fields.

Tell that to the children who died carrying ammunition on the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Vietnam didn’t win because we had "human capital."

We won because we had human memory. Human courage. Human dignity.

We had millions of people willing to risk death, because freedom meant more than comfort.

So no, Long.

We’re not turning the Vietnamese into martyrs.

We’re remembering who paid the price.

And it wasn’t the aristocrats.

It was the forgotten.

The poor.

The voiceless.

The very people you now insult just to protect your fragile ego.
