You maybe right, but not for the next XX years. 

Fully autonomous driving on roads is still difficult. Remove any markers, boundaries, and introduce ditches, mines, holes, rivers, and hostile opponents, not to mention actual tactical movement techniques and the ability to improvise on the fly?

Not just driving, but fighting the platform…
