“A few years ago, when I told someone from France that I hail from Burkina Faso, I was often met with the response, “Sorry, where is that in Africa?” It was embarrassing, but I stayed composed, as my principles prevent me from showing weakness to those who mock me.

Now, I have changed the narrative by proudly preserving what belongs to Burkina Faso for Burkina Faso. Suddenly, the world knows our name. I am deeply grateful to Allah for placing Burkina Faso back on the global map.
