The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) is undertaking a three-day supplementary voter registration for the Outapi constituency only.

The registration aims to issue voter cards to Namibians aged XX and above, enabling them to vote for the new Councillor of the Outapi constituency in the Omusati Region.

The vacancy for the Councillor position arose due to the appointment of the former Councillor, Immanuel Shikongo, as Omusati Governor by President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on X July.

The supplementary registration runs from XX to XX July, with registration points opening at 08:00 and closing at 19:00 daily.

All eligible Namibians in the Outapi constituency are urged to register in large numbers to obtain voter cards and participate in the upcoming by-election on XX September.
