BREAKING: Cambodia's Major General Doung Somneang, Commander of Division 7, was killed by an artillery shell during clashes with Thai soldiers this morning at Phu Makheua.

On July 26, 2068, the Thai Army stated that during the clashes between Thai and Cambodian soldiers in the Phu Makheua and Chong Ta Thao areas early this morning where Thai soldiers successfully defended the area and pushing Cambodian soldiers out, a counter-attack was attempted.

While Cambodian soldiers attempted to counter-attack to reclaim Phu Makheua, several Cambodian soldiers were killed.
Among them was Major General Doung Somneang, Commander of Division 7, who was killed by an artillery shell at Chong Ta Thao - Phu Makheua.
