Real scenario: A bot farm operator buys XXXXXX leaked identity documents from a data breach and creates verified accounts across platforms

They wouldn't even need to buy them

Centralizing identity verification creates massive honeypots, and if let's say Reddit gets breached 

Congrats you have more ID's too give to bot farms

Oh! But you'll have way more issues now such as impersonation, black mail and whatnot

Not to mention AI could legitimately bypass some KYC systems
