Yeah it is an overkill, i believe hardware wallets don't offer much extra protection but maybe it's because of my set up.

My issue is the 3-5 years of lifespan without the option to change the battery.

With my set up i don't have any expenses although i might order a ledger flex now that i can afford to waste money (it's definitely a nice looking device, the recovery key was a good feature)
