BOB is constructing the upcoming Bitcoin native DeFi platform.

Here's how @build_on_bob is progressing toward the mainnet using BitVM, Babylon, and a new category of BTC yield offerings.

In partnership with leading players in the crypto space, BOB initiated the BitVM bridge testnet in July 2025. 

This is the first testnet and is a crucial step toward mainnet in Q4 2025. 

The BitVM bridge permits Bitcoin to be programmed without trust constraints. No wrapping and no bridging. 

Only Bitcoin interacts with DeFi in a trustless and native manner.

In December 2024, BOB partnered with Babylon and, then,  later on join the $6B Bitcoin staking protocol. 

This integrated BOB with the Babylon’s $6B Bitcoin staking protocol, allowing BOB to gain the Bitcoin finality and boosting the security for the applications built on the platforms.

February 2025 BOB released:

Hybrid BTC Yield products, the first multichain BTC yield layer. 

These new products were created with:

• Veda

• Euler

• Lombard

These institutions partnered to provide unrestricted crosschain Bitcoin yield without using wrapped tokens.

BOB is integrating everything for Bitcoin native DeFi from protocol security to cross-chain yield. 

And all are aimed towards the mainnet in Q4 2025.

TL;DR

Currently, BOB is:

• Live with BitVM testnet

• Integrated with Babylon

• Enabling multichain BTC yield

• Mainnet launch imminent

BOB is actively working towards making Bitcoin DeFi a reality.
