You are explaining how stocks work, kaspa is a thermofynamically sound scarcity network, there might be a short term pump but it will either fall to cost of production again or it will stay until cost of production has grown into the suit or until actual coin scarcity kicks in. If price rises to fast older holders will become too profitable and sell their coins to match active demand.
