Intel is running out of room to maneuver.

Shares of $INTC fell X% yesterday after the company warned of chip manufacturing issues and announced cuts to spending and its workforce.

This isn’t just a bad quarter. It’s a symptom of a deeper challenge:

👉 Advanced-node competitors are pulling ahead.
👉 Cost-cutting has replaced aggressive scaling.
👉 Execution risk is growing as customers look elsewhere.

In semiconductors, time is market share.

Delay long enough, and you don’t just lose a cycle — you lose relevance.

The question now: Can Intel turn austerity into agility?

Or is this the start of a long slide for a once-dominant name?
