STABLECOINS COMPARISON: APTOS v. TRON

when it comes to liquidity and users tron is the goat for stables, they boast a $76B+ market cap of stables, with USDT at XX% of that market cap. with over X million daily active addresses and over X million daily transactions. these numbers clearly shows that most of onchain stables flow through tron.

but at what cost?

tron average fee per transaction still in the multi dollar range, with some estimates being as high as $X per txn, while aptos fees per txn are in the sub cents range, meaning usually users don't pay any more than X cent per txn.
(note: these are estimates for USDT txns)

when it comes to chain speed and scalability, aptos clearly leads this

over the past XX days

→ transaction volume (≈ monthly total txns)
tron: ~ XXXXXXXXXXX txns
aptos: ~ XXXXXXXXXXX txns
(tron volume ~2.4× higher)

→ real‑time tps
tron: ~100.5 tx/s
aptos: ~49.68 tx/s
(tron’s real‑time tps is ~2.4× higher than aptos due to their higher volume of transaction)

→ max tps (over 100‑block window)
tron: XXX tx/s
aptos: XXXXXX tx/s
(aptos achieves ~48× more max tps than tron)

→ max theoretical tps
tron: XXXXX tx/s
aptos: XXXXXXX tx/s
(aptos is ~64× more scalable in theory)

→ average block time
tron: ~3 s per block
aptos: ~0.12 s per block
(aptos blocks are ~24× faster than tron)

→ finality (time‑to‑finality)
tron: ~57 s
aptos: ~0.9 s
(aptos finalizes ~63× faster)

this clearly shows that aptos is cheaper and faster, meaning it is more suitable for stables transactions, for cost-conscious stablecoin users, @Aptos is becoming harder to ignore. is tron's stablecoin dominance costing retail traders too much?
