Maple Finance Proposes MIP-018 to Increase SYRUP Buyback Rate

On July 25, 2025, Maple Finance introduced proposal MIP-018, aiming to raise the protocol fee allocation for SYRUP token buybacks from XX% to 25%, starting in Q3 2025.
The repurchased tokens will be distributed as rewards to SYRUP stakers (stSYRUP), enhancing long-term value and encouraging user participation.
Only stSYRUP holders can vote on the proposal, reinforcing Maple’s decentralized governance model.
