At this point, the evidence of war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and genocide is so overwhelming that some defenders of Israel rely mainly on emotional appeals. They often bring up antisemitism and the Holocaust when speaking to non-Jews, or accuse Jewish critics of betraying their family and heritage. But there’s a limit to how long these arguments can hold up against what our own eyes and ears are telling us.
