🇺🇸🇪🇬 U.S. APPROVES $4.7B NASAMS AIR DEFENSE DEAL WITH EGYPT

The U.S. State Department has signed off on a potential $XXX billion sale of NASAMS air defense systems to Egypt, marking one of Cairo’s biggest defense purchases in recent years.

The package includes launchers, radar, control systems, and support equipment - aimed at boosting Egypt’s ability to counter airborne threats.

Strategic partnership? Arms diplomacy? Either way, it’s a major upgrade for a key U.S. ally in a turbulent region.

Congress now has XX days to object.
