WALTER PAYTON'S 275-YARD "FLU GAME"

Suffering from a 101-degree fever and severe flu symptoms, Sweetness not only played through it...he set the #NFL's then single-game rushing record with a majestic 40-carry, 275-yard performance.

Payton scored the #Bears' only touchdown in a 10-7 win over the Vikings at #Chicago's Soldier Field.

His record would stand for XX years until broken by Cincinnati's Corey Dillon in 2000.
