Group D

Spain headlines group D, with one of the best all around squads in the event. Strong guard play with Del Pino, Blanco, Huelves and Villar, with good wing play with Real Madrid duo Nacho Campoy and Gildas Gimenez and great big man play with Ian Platteeuw and Cheick Diallo. Another favourite in this event

Slovenia has a really fun squad with tons of guard prospects who might be able to take the leap to the NBA one day. Mark Morano is my favourite player in this event as a 3-level shot maker who can catch fire at any time. 6’8 PG Ian Lazarevski and U16 sensation Stefan Joksimovic make for a really fun trio offensively.

Belgium is a very young team, but a team to wat h as one of the top teams in the event. Headlined by Monteverde’s Matthew Hodge, big shooter Tim Waerniers and Aaron Ona Embo, who will be the youngest player in the event after a solid youth career at Real Madrid

Latvia is another underrated team, with Real Madrid’s Adrian Andzevs, Valencia’s Tomas Talcis and Zalgiris’ Ilia Kurucs. Could put a few teams on upset watch
