Across V4 completely demolishes this bottleneck. By partnering with @SuccinctLabs to integrate a Zero-Knowledge (ZK) powered universal verifier, V4 introduces a "integrate once, scale everywhere" model.

Instead of custom adapters, a single, universal verifier contract can be deployed on any new chain. This contract can cryptographically verify proofs about events that happened on Ethereum.
