They absolutely don't. If I say that someone did something horrible on X, the person I accused can't do anything about it. They can post on X, but if they don't have reach comparable to mine, it won't do much of anything since they will have no way to reach my audience (the ones who heard the accusation) unless I let them. Where are you getting that from? They absolutely don't. If I say that someone did something horrible on X, the person I accused can't do anything about it.
