The lack of immediate communication is confusing and has sparked unnecessary panic across the community. A solid update would restore trust and focus and go a long way. 2️⃣. The market saw a XX billion $VELO unlock, yet the price barely flinched. This happened during a broader market downturn, where many ISO20022 tokens tanked, but $VELO held strong and recovered from its individual news in a matter of hours. This brings confidence, not panick. That’s a powerful sign! The lack of price dilution suggests these tokens didn’t flood the open market, they’re likely being absorbed elsewhere, which brings us to my next point. 3️⃣. Ten billion tokens is a massive number, and you’d expect a price crash if they hit exchanges unchecked. But the stability hints at a strategic move, possibly allocation to institutional partners for use cases like $USDV. Remember the concern over a X billion unlock in September? This was five times that, yet the price held firm. That’s not luck, that’s purposeful deployment. 4️⃣. When the circulating supply was XXX billion $VELO, there was actually only just 1.9–2.2 billion on exchanges. Even with this unlock, the actively tradable supply likely hasn’t spiked, exchange availability probably still hovers around that 1.9–2.2 billion range. The rest are locked, staked, or held. We should hear from @veloprotocol soon to confirm, but the supply crunch theory still holds. 5️⃣. HODL with Conviction or Walk Away.
