The FCC has approved Skydance Media's $X billion bid to acquire Paramount, the parent company of CBS News. The green light from Trump’s FCC comes after Paramount agreed to a $XX million settlement over a lawsuit brought by the president. Trump had accused the CBS news program "60 Minutes" of deceptively editing an interview with then-presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

What’s more, as part of the deal, Skydance agreed to address the Trump administration’s concerns about alleged bias at CBS.
