🇮🇱🇵🇸 UN AID CHIEF TO ISRAEL: SHOW THE EVIDENCE OF UN TIES WITH HAMAS

After Israel accused UN aid workers of ties to Hamas, UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher is demanding proof - and fast.

At a heated Security Council session, Israel’s Ambassador Danny Danon claimed OCHA staff were affiliated with Hamas and announced tighter visa rules plus sweeping security vetting for hundreds of UN employees.

Fletcher fired back: this is the first he’s heard of it - and the accusations are “extremely serious” with real safety consequences for staff on the ground.

Fletcher:

“If you have evidence, put it on the table.”

Meanwhile, OCHA says its contacts with Hamas have helped release hostages - and that it’s not choosing sides, it’s choosing civilians.
