@c_h_e_m @MichaelAArouet It’s a fair point—57 % isn’t just the top bracket, it’s the effective tax burden (all taxes paid ÷ total income). Marginal rates (what you pay on the last €) sit closer to XX % in France. Effective vs. marginal matters when you measure real take‑home.
