Grid 101:  There is no be-all and end-all energy generation technology.  The grid is an ecosystem with niches.

Your bias towards certain electricity generation types is moronic

Something that generates electricity, by its very definition, isn't parasitic 

What's parasitic is the lobbyists that have attached themselves to your skull, and burrowed into your brain
