One thing have noticed while interacting with @wavesprotocol ecosystem is the very affordable and low gas fee for transactions, it was quite a relief 

The native cryptocurrency, $WAVES, is used for transaction fees, creating custom tokens, staking, governance, and as collateral for issuing tokens. 

It incentivizes block generators through rewards and fees.
