I sympathize with anyone of good faith who gets smeared as antisemitic just because they have criticisms of foreign wars and entanglements. Criticism of Israel is not necessarily antisemitic. But there are a few understandable reasons why it's sometimes seen that way:

1) Actual antisemites who recycle 900-year-old blood libels often retreat to "I'm only criticizing Israel" when called out. It can be hard to tell the difference between a good-faith actor and someone using "Israel government criticism" as the "motte" for their Jew-hatred "bailey."

2) Most of Israel's government, including their lobbying efforts, seem to be focused on keeping the Jews from being genocided by their neighbors, so I can easily see how opposition to Israel's government could become interpreted by some as opposition to Jews being protected from genocide.

3) If anyone is hyper-focused on the influence of Israel and not so much that of China, Qatar, India, and others, I think it might be fair to assume one of two possibilities: either they're going down a road of antisemitism, or they're being manipulated by antisemites.
