I mention it because I was in High School, wavering in the faith I was raised in, when a friend of mine had a Christian conversion experience and asked me to go see this band with him at a storefront. Local Christian metal bands came and played. They prayed and read Scripture during the performances. It was all metal. No one drank, did drugs, or used vulgar language. 

Some of us didn't want to listen to guys wearing their sister's jeans yearn for a girl they broke up with, we wanted something more guttural, something with power. This is an example of band that did that while also embodying Christian values. 

Maybe you had to be there to get it, idk.
