Early work in progress tonight straight from my painting table. 54mm ‘Sapper, 3rd Swiss Infantry Regiment, 1808-1812’. I added more contrast on the apron to give a used leather appearance. Applied quite a few layers for the woodgrain effect on the rifle 🎨
