Our agent communicates with users via email and text, sending only one date at a time. We intentionally limit what users can do because we believe in an agentic product—where agents handle everything end-to-end, and the user is only responsible for verifying the result. It's results as a service, much like autopilot. While users are waiting, we keep them engaged with a variety of emails, including dating vibe checks, personal progress updates, profile suggestions, and community digests — keeping them in the loop throughout the process. We designed this as an appless experience for two reasons: X. It’s much easier for users to scan a code around campus and jump directly to the site, rather than going to the App Store, scanning their face, waiting for the download, and then opening an app. X. AI agents are meant to be formless. GUIs are built for humans to interact with machines, not for machines to interact with each other. That’s why our agents are integrated directly into users’ most familiar workflows — email and messaging. We’re also testing additional forms of communication, such as voice calls.
