The only way to give them that help is to get them off the streets and confined to a safe environment where they can receive the treatment they need and refuse while on the streets. Allowing people to pass out from drugs in a snowbank where they then get frostbite and have their limbs amputated is a fucking horror show that could be avoided if these people were rounded up and committed for living on the streets. They are a walking definition of being a threat to themselves and others. I agree, they need real help.
