I don’t need to do a lot of shopping. I realize prices are much worse than the numbers being reported. I also know inflation is a money supply issue. I also know borrowing cost to everyone except the banks through the Fed discount window are set primarily off of the XX year. Look what happened to the XX year after the Fed cut last year. I also know the prices could double today - and stay the same for XX months and according to BLS and the way they report inflation - you would have zero inflation .i also know inflation has been outrageous since Bernanke went to MMT and held interest rates at zero for a decade and created trillion of dollars. Inflation results from too much money in the system and currency devaluation - both created by interest rates being too low.
