Everyone wants intros to cool people

But not all intros are equal 

ex. A warm intro from Person A can close a $100k deal in XX minutes with Person B but only if Person B respects Person A 

ex. An intro from Person A who Person B secretly hates and doesn’t respect (but Person B is too ignorant to realize this) will put you in same category as Person B

All intros are not equal 

Some are positive leverage, some are negative 

Be careful to understand the exact relationships before getting an intro

You can usually get an intro to someone via multiple routes; the first is not always the right one.
