🇮🇳 Big Boost to Indian Army’s Air Defence!

The Ministry of Defence has signed a ₹2,000 crore deal with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) to supply state-of-the-art Air Defence Fire Control Radars under the Buy (Indian-IDDM) category ensuring over XX% indigenous content.

🔹 The cutting-edge ‘Atulya’ radars will enhance India’s layered air defence network, offering faster tracking, better threat assessment, and seamless integration with missile systems.
🔹 These radars are designed to counter hostile aircraft, UAVs, cruise missiles, and more, even in complex battlefield environments.

This landmark contract reaffirms India’s commitment to self-reliance under #AatmaNirbharBharat and showcases BEL’s rising capabilities in indigenous defence production.

🛡️ Meanwhile, earlier initiatives like iDEX and the ADITI scheme continue to push India’s deep-tech innovation ecosystem, with a total corpus of ₹750 crore earmarked to support startups working on next-gen military tech.
