Tesla rapidly went from a misunderstood car company despised by media for years to suddenly being repriced as a profitable high-growth AI+tech company.

Musk explained for years that he believes his robotaxi business is larger than the car business and the humanoid robot business is even larger.

By the time it was included in the S&P the majority of the gains of that run were had.
