Old Bitcoin wallets rarely move but when they do, it’s worth paying attention.

Yesterday, XXXXX $BTC (dormant for 10+ years) moved onchain, just weeks after XXXXXX BTC moved on July 4th.

Historically, these “ancient coin” movements don’t always mean selling, but they often signal big shifts:

• Custodial changes (moving to new, more secure wallets)

• Estate settlements or reorganizations

• Early holders taking liquidity after sitting tight for a decade

For traders, it’s a reminder that onchain activity often happens before big market moves.

Personally, I see it as long term holders actively re positioning for what’s coming next, not panic selling.
