rip, this thesis assumes the 'apps' remain the same. BlackBerry had the developer and user network effect until the iPhone created a 10x better paradigm for new apps.
If a non-EVM chain becomes the exclusive home for a breakout AI or DePIN protocol with 10M+ users, wouldn't that create a new, powerful network effect from scratch?
