$NEM  Newmont Rises on Earnings Beat and $ 3B Buyback Boost  NEM surged after Q2 EPS of $XXXX beat estimates ($1.16) and nearly  doubled YoY. Revenue hit $5.3B vs. $4.8B expected, driven by soaring  gold prices (+41% YoY to $3,320/oz). Gold accounted for $1.86B of $1.9B  YoY sales growth.  Newmont announced a new $ 3B buyback, lifting total authorization to $  6B. It has already repurchased $1.36B in 2025—more than all of 2024. CEO  says this reflects strong confidence in the business.  Shares are up XX% YTD. Debt has declined for five straight quarters, now  at $7.5B—below the $ 8B target.
