A personal axiom I use to validity check large moves is the following day. My mark is a XX% retracement. If it retraces the prior day’s move, be that down or up, less than XX%  it validates the direction. 

For example if Tesla were to be up less than X% downward continuation will continue. 

Conversely, retracement move greater than XX% invalidates the prior day’s move. Looking bullish so far today.
