🇧🇷 Trump's XX% Brazil tariff hits Aug X - same day courts hear his unconstitutional IEEPA appeal. A $1.7B US trade surplus becomes collateral damage in his Bolsonaro rescue mission.  

The admin claims "imbalance" while US exports to Brazil jumped XXXX% to $21.7B this year. Visa sanctions against Brazilian judges (July 18) expose this as political theater - ABIMAQ notes "no economic justification" for tariffs that risk pushing South America's largest economy into China's arms.  

When trade policy becomes a cudgel against sovereign courts, Americans pay the price in credibility AND cash.
