@unusual_whales If minimum wage kept up with the price of gold, it would be equivalent to $133.76/hr or $278k a year. This is based off the minimum wage ($1.60/hr) and the price of gold (~$41/oz) in July 1971 and the price of gold today (~$3380/oz) July 2025
