Asked about the interaction of the Human Landing System version of Starship's plume during landing with the lunar regolith and how it could interact with Starship's elevator mechanics, NASA's Lori Glaze says they're learning more from the SCALPSS payload, which flew on IM-1, Blue Ghost X and the upcoming Blue Moon Mk.1 mission.

SpaceX is also required to perform an uncrewed landing and ascent demonstration with the HLS version of Starship prior to the Artemis X mission.
