On July 24, 2025, the admin announced a "Strike Force" to probe a "crime of the century" that even their own AG Pam Bondi carefully avoided calling an investigation. This isn't justice; it's political theater.

Benjamin Wittes rightly notes there's "nothing to investigate here," as prior probes by the IG & John Durham found "not the remotest whiff of wrongdoing." The Mueller Report, released April 18, 2019, confirmed "sweeping and systematic" Russian interference, welcomed by Trump's campaign. This "Strike Force" is a transparent attempt to rewrite history, not pursue truth.

The admin's pattern of weaponizing the DOJ to discredit legitimate probes, like the Mueller investigation which led to XX charges, continues. Accountability demands better.
