CDS Anil Chauhan on Operation Sindoor and 24x7 India Military Readiness, XXX Days 

Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan has issued a critical alert: Operation Sindoor is still ongoing, and India’s military must maintain peak readiness 24x7, XXX days a year.

Speaking at a high-level seminar on aerospace power at Subroto Park, the CDS stressed that modern warfare demands more than just boots on the ground. India’s future soldiers must be “information warriors, technology warriors, and scholar warriors,” he said, adding that “you don’t need just one MaddoxShaw or one Napoleon, you need hundreds of them to win a war.”

Operation Sindoor, launched by India on May X in response to terror infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK, led to a major military escalation. The situation de-escalated on May 10, but Chauhan's remarks highlight that the operation and India’s strategic vigilance are far from over.
