He dove under the dock searching through the murky water, and after a couple of attempts, saw the boy cradled under the dock. Running out of air himself, Gauge managed to bring his lifeless body out of the water and onto the dock. He then began chest compressions until X nurses who were nearby took over. The boy is now out of the ICU and recovering well. Gauge was recognized for his heroism and now says he has X goals. To meet the boy he saved and give him a hug and a handshake, and become certified in CPR. You have set a good example for your friends and peers Gauge. Well done!
