This is, of course, complete and utter nonsense.

In addition to its corporate treasury which holds BTC, ETH, various liquid tokens, and venture investments, Galaxy $GLXY has a market making business.

It's been well documented on here that an "ancient whale" sent ~80,000 BTC to $GLXY last week. Obviously, market selling ~80,000 BTC would result in disastrous execution with an outsized impact on price, so this whale contacted Galaxy to facilitate the trade for him (or her).

The fact that ancient whales are going to Galaxy to effectuate these types of massive trades (which Galaxy likely profits from by capturing a bid-ask spread) highlights Galaxy's prominence within the digital assets ecosystem.

A third-grader who took the time to read Galaxy's financials could ascertain that Galaxy (i) holds it digital assets across a wide variety of platforms and wallets, on-chain and off-chain, and (ii) utilizes a wide variety of instruments to hedge its exposures, including derivatives (which sit off-chain). I doubt Galaxy would have been able to grow the book value of their equity from ~$1/shr. in 2018 to ~$7.50/shr.+ today with "No plan, no OTC, no hedge, just pure incompetence".
