Cutting funding to all “Palestinian” causes, pressuring the UN to make these people release the hostages, and cutting off aid to any nation housing Hamas leaders (Qatar) is way more effective than putting boots on the ground and potentially escalating a global conflict.  Especially with a geriatric dementia patient who was in the White House at the time.
