This will NEVER happen. If the Speaker of the South African Parliament agrees to a secret ballot when the confidence motion against President Cyril Ramaphosa is voted on, I will walk from Cape to Cairo naked!

There are many within the ANC who want to see President Ramaphosa gone, driven by factional interests.
A secret ballot would allow those ANC MPs aligned with rival factions to vote against him and install their preferred candidate.

My money is on the Speaker refusing a secret ballot; it will never happen!
