Yes, we've talked about this a decent bit lately...and that's because there's good opportunity. You can make money. You can play fun games (HINT HINT THERE'S SOME NEW STUFF COMING VERY SOON). You can slowly earn some XP (airdrop potential?). It's one of the best places to be onchain at the moment imo. - DeFi. This should come as a surprise to no one. I am aggressively picking DeFi spots because I have no edge in onchain atm...so i'm maximizing yield opportunities. My Polkadot yield farms on Hydration are currently giving me >44% APY on idle BTC. That's crazy. At the same time you have some ridiculous rates on Base via AAVE/Morpho, you've got great rates on Aerodrome for USDC/BTC pairings, you've got crazy emissions for various BTC pairings on Blackhole dex (Avalanche). It's yield season. Go compound your money. - Creator economies + incentive design. There's a ton of interesting ways to make money in crypto right now. I think ppl really should be looking to build social presences *without* explicitly chasing monetization because that will allow them to be part of the future UGC commerce market at a much larger level. I'm looking at Time Fun (powers Glympse on Solana) to probably put a time market up and allow ppl to use me in the Solana version of fantasy (and allows me to collect fees on ppl trading my card). I'm looking Opinions Fun that launched yesterday that allows ppl to launch opinion markets (even if I'm not super clear on the resolution mechanism). I'm looking at Melee Markets (will have more to share on that in the future) that delivers a really interesting crowd-opinion-as-truth product (which again allows for non-intrusive creator monetization). It has never been a better time to have a social following. Might as well start now.
