@NiShangin_ Yes true. And Japanese during early Nara period used Indian religion, philosophy, gurus, monks, and even carpenters and masons to establish their monarchy and control over Japan. The Chinese empress Wu Zetian used Indian Buddhism, monks and Brahmins to establish herself.
