Bridging Research with Sustainable Living and Wellness in Border Areas

Professor Yash Pal Sharma, Dean and Mr Syed Azhar Hashmi from the University of Jammu called on #GeneralUpendraDwivedi, #COAS. They briefed the #COAS on their discovery and findings on a rare variety of mushroom ‘Pleurotus Shentelli’, which grows only in trans-Himalayan region of Dras and Mushkoh. The discussion focused on methods utilising the bio-diversity of the nation for augmenting wellness, medicinal benefits and promoting sustainable living for troops deployed in remote areas.
