The Kindred Spirits sculpture is in Ireland.

It was built in honor of the Choctaw Indian tribe here in the US. 

You see, the Choctaw tribe gave $XXX to help the Irish during the potato famine.  That's equal to about $100K in today's money. 

They had little to give but gave what they had, knowing what suffering and famine was  i.e. the Trail of Tears. 

My closest friend and partner in the FBI in the Virgin Islands was Choctaw. One of the most amazing people I have ever known.

There is no substitute for generosity. It is the true giving of oneself.
